6 Bridges Gallery and ArtSpace proudly present “Untangled,” a show of contemporary fiber art juried by Janet Kawada. Weaving, felting, embroidery, quilting, basketry, and more will be showcased from June 29 until August 3 at 77 Main Street / 6 Bridges Gallery in Maynard, Mass. All of the beautiful work is for sale, so shop during gallery hours!
Juror Janet Kawada, longtime professor of fiber arts at Mass. College of Art, originated the show concept. Says Janet: “The inventive work submitted for Untangled encompassed everything from traditional functional weaving to handmade paper to wool transformed by felting and sculpture. I encourage everyone to see the show!”
The artists’ opening reception takes place at 77 Main Street / 6 Bridges Gallery, June 29 4-6pm.
